Opportunities Abound
Galatians 6:3-5
..."if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.
For each one will bear his own load."...

Rare Gems are so rare...
Proverbs 1:7-9
..."The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
Fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Hear, my son, your father’s instruction
And do not forsake your mother’s teaching;
Indeed, they are a graceful wreath to your head
And ornaments about your neck."...

Fathers who live righteously with integrity
..."A plan in the heart of a man is like deep water,
But a man of understanding draws it out....
...A righteous man who walks in his integrity—
How blessed are his sons after him."...

The Righteous
"If you righteously walk with the LORD and also do your "job" raising up your children in the LORD---the LORD is glorified by your efforts.
If your grown children-knowing God's Truth- choose to be rebellious against the LORD---they will be held accountable, not you, for their sins."

Psalms 89:14
..."Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; Lovingkindness and truth go before You."...

God's Spectacular Creation
~utube Blue Jay photo from a dear friend.
Come, ye sinners, poor and needy,
Weak and wounded, sick and sore;
Jesus ready stands to save you,
Full of pity, love and pow’r.
I will arise and go to Jesus,
He will embrace me in His arms;
In the arms of my dear Savior,
Oh, there are ten thousand charms.
Come, ye thirsty, come, and welcome,
God’s free bounty glorify;
True belief and true repentance,
Every grace that brings you nigh.
I will arise and go to Jesus,
He will embrace me in His arms;
In the arms of my dear Savior,
Oh, there are ten thousand charms.
Come, ye weary, heavy-laden,
Lost and ruined by the fall;
If you tarry till you’re better,
You will never come at all.
I will arise and go to Jesus,
He will embrace me in His arms;
In the arms of my dear Savior,
Oh, there are ten thousand charms.
View Him prostrate in the garden;
On the ground your Maker lies;
On the bloody tree behold Him;
Sinner, will this not suffice?
I will arise and go to Jesus,
He will embrace me in His arms;
In the arms of my dear Savior,
Oh, there are ten thousand charms.
Lo! th’ incarnate God ascended,
Pleads the merit of His blood:
Venture on Him, venture wholly,
Let no other trust intrude.
I will arise and go to Jesus,
He will embrace me in His arms;
In the arms of my dear Savior,
Oh, there are ten thousand charms.
Let not conscience make you linger,
Not of fitness fondly dream;
All the fitness He requireth
Is to feel your need of Him.
I will arise and go to Jesus,
He will embrace me in His arms;
In the arms of my dear Savior,
Oh, there are ten thousand charms.

I think I have posted this significant hymn in the past, and the utube, but it is so worth it!

What is Your Most Important Career?
Genesis 2:22-25
..."The Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man.
The man said,
"This is now bone of my bones,
And flesh of my flesh;
She shall be called Woman,
Because she was taken out of Man.”
For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother,
and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.
And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed."

Take a Deep Breath
2 Corinthians 1:3-5
..."Blessed be the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ,
the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our affliction
so that we will be able to comfort
those who are in any affliction
with the comfort with which
we ourselves are comforted by God.
For just as the sufferings of Christ
are ours in abundance,
so also our comfort
is abundant through Christ."...

A Legacy: Family
The proverbs of Solomon the son of David,
king of Israel:
To know wisdom and instruction,
To discern the sayings of understanding,
To receive instruction in wise behavior,
Righteousness, justice and equity;
To give prudence to the naive,
To the youth knowledge and discretion,
A wise man will hear and increase in learning,
And a man of understanding will acquire wise counsel,
To understand a proverb and a figure,
The words of the wise and their riddles.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge;
Fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Hear, my son, your father’s instruction
And do not forsake your mother’s teaching;
Indeed, they are a graceful wreath to your head
And ornaments about your neck."...

Being Washed
Lately...I dealt with a prideful, haughty person.
It is disturbing to watch and hear a haughty, snobby person.
They are right.
They are rich and I am not.
So what?
Meanwhile, I just politely listen (and hope this person will leave soon).
I suppose this is probably a snobby attitude of mine---but at least it was only in my head.
Contemplating this recent person...I began to remember this one particular person from over twenty years ago.
This is how I remember her:
The most rude, haughty, selfish, conniving, pernicious women I have ever met. She haughtily claimed her salvation.
This sadly being said....we all must "police" ourselves in our minds and with our mouths.
Let us put all evil thoughts away, forgive others even if they never repent.
YOU are in charge of YOU.
Get right with the LORD.
Choose to be washed in the LORD's Forgiveness!
1 Corinthians 6:9-11
..."do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God?
Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God."...
1 John 1:5-10
..."This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us."
