Manners 101

4 comments:

  1. Courtesy, manners, chivalry, often times desperately missing in this society.

That said, when I do see a man, especially a young man, step forward like a true gentleman, I take the time to thank him.

  3. Start early.......for me it's with my grandchildren now. Grandson loves to wear his ball cap, but I remind him to take it off when he comes into our home. And I hear his father teaching him, also, that when someone speaks to our grandson, he is to respond and acknowledge that person, looking them in the eye. In teaching manners, I hope the point is that we are to be thoughtful of others and understand the biblical reasons for them!

BTW, the pictures you post are delightful!

  4. Thank you, Kathryn, I loved hearing this! Thank you for sharing!

To teach children to honor others by looking them in the eye is a completely lost art. Your grandson is learning great things from you and his parents. Praise the LORD!
