Wolves in Sheep Clothing

What a graphic thought this is from Jesus.

There are always people acting and looking like "sheep" when, in fact,  they are actually dangerous "ravenous wolves".

These people do not have to have a degree in theology, they can be seemingly normal, but be careful what you learn and believe. The World is a dangerous place.

There is one person who is safe. He is the Savior, Jesus Christ, Messiah, of the Bible.

Matthew 7:13-20
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.

For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

You will know them by their fruits.

Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?

So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit.

A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit.

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

So then, you will know them by their fruits."

Be careful out there.

What do we do with a Bible verse like Matthew 7:21? It scares me to death. You can live a Christian life and work so hard just to have Jesus say, "Psych! You are going to hell even if you obeyed me." That is so unfair and horrifying.

Thank you for asking this important question.

Matthew 7:21 says,  “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.”

The passage states that he who does the will of the Father will enter heaven. Doing the will of the Father is accepting Jesus as your Savior and if you truly accept Him as your Savior your life will be lived for Him.

All the good works you do without being saved - DO NOT get you into heaven. The point is the Will of the Father,

Works alone do not mean anything (works are filthy rags with out Jesus). After you accept Jesus as your Savior it will be natural for you to live your life for Him. But it is NOT your works which save you.

"Living a Christian Life” does not mean you are a Christian.

You do not have to be horrified. Be humble, Trust the LORD, Cry out to be saved, Turn from your sins, and Follow Jesus.
