Starting your day with Christ
Look closely at this picture
One candy is wrapped and untouched.
The other is exposed and swarmed by ants.
Sometimes...
the attention you’re getting isn’t because
you’re "too fine", "too hot" or “too sexy”.
It’s because you’ve left yourself uncovered.
Modesty doesn’t hide your beauty, it protects it.
You don’t need to reveal everything to feel valued.
Let your presence speak louder than your skin.
Dear daughters of God,
Dress with purpose, not just popularity.
You deserve respect, not just reactions.
Let wisdom guide your fashion, not pressure
or trends.

Precious Women...
1 Peter 3:3-5
..."Do not let your adorning be external—the braiding of hair and the putting on of gold jewelry, or the clothing you wear—but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which in God's sight is very precious."...
Romans 12:1-2
..."present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."...

Excellent words, Jill!
If only our young daughters, granddaughters, high schoolers, the list goes on...could understand this concept of modesty. It is so needed today!
Thank you, for your comment. I agree completely. This world is full of distractions which are like "free day" at the candy store. So many -females- want to be like others and have what others have and be like others. Mothers- and fathers! allow their under-age daughters to wear things to "fit in" and "be popular. POPULAR! of course all the males will be looking because they get to see what they shouldn't see! Meanwhile, females who are of age, who can choose on their own, need to realize that showing off their own body is "giving away" to all the males what should only be given to their eventual husbands.
I could go on and on...but I will say that when I was of age and dating my husband to be--he would not have considered me if I had shown too much of my body. Nothing is new under the sun. As Christian -young and older- women we can dress and look lovely, charming, sweet and beautiful without showing off our bodies. Glorify God with your modest body :o)
