Strawberry Harvest

Our best strawberry harvest ever!  This is our second day of picking with many more to come. The berries have never been so sweet or big.

I heard a devotion years ago where the woman expressed how the LORD provides no matter what.  She said, "Pumpkins or peaches".  You may have a bumper crop from pumpkins or peaches, but the LORD will watch over His people.

 Psalm 46

God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change
And though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;
Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride...
...The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold...
...“Cease striving and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold.

Do you make jam (preserves) with the strawberries, Jill, or do you serve them for breakfast or for baking tarts etc? How do you find time to tend to fruits and flowers? Do you have a schedule you use as a guide every day?

Everything :o) Next week: preserves.

I rarely have a schedule and yet I do get some things accomplished!
