The LORD hears our cries

Psalm 40

"...I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me and heard my cry.
He brought me up out of the pit of destruction,
out of the miry clay,
And He set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our God;
Many will see and fear
And will trust in the Lord.
How blessed is the man who has made the Lord his trust,
And has not turned to the proud,
nor to those who lapse into falsehood..."

Psalm 94

"...He who planted the ear, does He not hear?
He who formed the eye, does He not see?
He who chastens the nations, will He not rebuke,
Even He who teaches man knowledge?
The Lord knows the thoughts of man,
That they are a mere breath..."

Psalm 27

"...I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for the Lord."

Psalm 118

"...This is the day which the Lord has made;
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
O Lord, do save, we beseech You;
O Lord, we beseech You, do send prosperity!
Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord;
We have blessed you from the house of the Lord..."

**Precious sisters in the LORD do not despair!  I know you suffer and I understand long standing agonies.

Life seems too much and maybe it is too much, but do not despair! the LORD is with you!

He sees you, He knows you.

Continue to run to Him for you will find safety and comfort in Him.  He will guide you and help you.

Your circumstances may never change, but the LORD will be your strength!

Continually give your suffering to Him and it just may be that in the land of the living you may yet see His hand's work, but if not ~ He is still working and you will see His beautiful handwork in glory.

Meanwhile, let us give Him the glory due to His marvelous name right now while we have life!

Praise to the LORD God Almighty!

Years ago, a dear sister in Christ gave me that section of Psalm 40 as an encouragement to me. I have never forgotten her kindness and compassion during that season of my life!

I also love that portion of Psalm 27.

Thank you for the encouragement that even when we can't see it/aren't aware of it, God is still at work in our lives!

Thank you, Carolyn, for your encouragement :o)

What a wonderful blessing when we are given scripture----like a gift, and what a gift to receive! We may even already know the verses, but to receive it makes His Word even more precious and priceless because of the care of another person in Him :o)

Knowing that the LORD dearly loves us, and that He works all things together for those who love Him is a safety to us. We can rest in Him to do His work, His way, His timing, and even if it is not "our scenarios" we can trust Him 100%. Praising Him with
you!
