Our summer wanes...

 -Kinsman photo

Our midwest summer has been dry.  It happens this way some years, but for me it has made it so long in waiting for the rains...

The skies have been so beautiful that I have marveled every day at the LORD's creation. There is always something to be in awe of and to glorify the LORD. It has made me so very thankful even among the dry weather.

Every now and then the storms are headed our way! and then they happen to veer away from our area... ;o/

Once in a while these rain storms actually come over to our area and it seems like it is a celebration!! We go out to the porch to sit and watch the whole "show" :o)

We like simple joys...thank you LORD.

Matthew 5:43-48
“You have heard that it was said,

‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’

But I say to you,

love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven;

for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good,

and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

For if you love those who love you,

what reward do you have?

Do not even the tax collectors do the same?

If you greet only your brothers,

what more are you doing than others?

Do not even the Gentiles do the same?

Therefore you are to be perfect,

as your heavenly Father is perfect."
