Hello Jill, I linked to your site from your husband's discernment site. I just wanted to thank you for the link to Rey Swimwear. I admit, even as a believer, I shudder when I hear fellow Christians mention "modesty", because it's either altogether lacking, or it's taught in such an incorrect manner that the only "acceptable" covering for a woman is a flour sack to the floor. Yesterday, I told my husband about your post and this swimwear company, and he was pleased.
Thank you, Carolyn, for your comment. "Modesty" is a confusing subject as it seems everyone has their own opinion. It goes from one extreme to the other, and definitely, the "flour sack" is a ridiculous extreme.
Hi Jill, thank you for posting that speech by Jessica Rey. I saw another believing sister link to that speech as well. What a train wreck the women lib movement created... women seeking power, but ending up degraded. Yet the word of God has the answer, and Christ sets us free from the shackles of sin!
The blessed thing about the Lord is that His light shines especially bright in the darkness. We can live for Him, honor Him in all our ways, and shine!

Carolyn, I completely agree. And the darkness is not dark for Him. Psalm 139
