Even so, I will exult in the LORD!

I made your world famous gingersnaps yesterday.  It brought back all those happy, joyful memories.

Soon enough I remembered your eventual entrapment, but this did not take away the truth.  The truth is these were real memories, and they were happy, joyful times even if you deny them now because of your own choices.

My agonies are beyond any words. The LORD is the only One who knows and comprehends my pain.

I am in His hands.  He lifts my head.  He reminds me who I am in Him. He carries me in the storms.

Well, it is not about me, and so I was once again reminded that the LORD also holds you in His hands.  He is the Hound of Heaven and I can trust Him with your life.

His name is glorified during this storm, and I am trusting that somehow, someday His name will be glorified when it is all over.

*
"Though the fig tree should not blossom
and there be no fruit on the vines,
Though the yield of the olive should fail
and the fields produce no food,
Though the flock should be cut off from the fold
and there be no cattle in the stalls,
Yet I will exult in the LORD,
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation,
The LORD God is my strength,
and He has made my feet like hind's feet,
and makes me walk on my high places."
Habakkuk 3:17-19

I also understand being greatly hurt by someone close. This person claims a form of Christianity but bears no fruit.

You are right, sometimes these agonies are beyond words. Those who have never experienced this kind of searing pain just never understand.

Thank you, Carolyn, for your understanding.

Yes, it seems that Christians can be extremely mean, perhaps hurting more so than non-christians. When they are friends or family it is even more hurtful. I understand that these certain people could be immature in the faith or swept away by false teachings so I can have great compassion for them even when I am in agony because of their choices. We have the LORD as our comfort and our strength, and can pray for our enemies, especially our Christian enemies. How blessed we are to rely on His wisdom and strength.

Thank you, for your encouragement, K, it is more precious than you know. The LORD is my all in all!
