Oh, say can you see by the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Jill,
Your last several posts really touch my heart. I always glean from your insights and pictures and Scripture quotes. The cult post brought tears, as I know there are those who are so deceived by charismatic leaders. Those people destroy family relationships and cultivate lives
of lies and deceit. I watched a documentary of Jim Jones and saw how wicked he was. God’s people must use discernment, question new teachings that don’t line up with the Word, and test what someone is saying by the Truth found in the Bible. It’s time to get beyond being
“nice” to those who would lead astray. Sometimes it takes a lot of guts to stand for what is true and right. Aberrant teachings are creeping
into whole denominations and must be resisted. Well, guess that’s enough for now. Blessings to you and may the Lord show His grace and kindness to you always.

I understand what you are saying about aberrant teachings coming into the Church as a whole, definitely into families. Books and conferences, internet teachings...
We know the Church has always had aberrant and false teachings bombarding it. We read it in God's Word. We definitely see it everywhere nowadays. Yes, we need to stand for His Truth, but we can not make people accept His Truth. We can only do the best we can. Perhaps some of these people will realize the false teachings as time goes by.
Keep on doing right things for the LORD!
