We have a great and wonderful Truth in which to set our hope.
Trouble is a way of life in this world. Sorrows, injustices, hatred, falsehoods, betrayals...
But as a Believer we rest our hope in our life with Jesus among a fallen world. Our choices are to be aware of our surroundings, but to live in joy because of our Savior.
All day, everyday we can find comfort and joy in Him. Troubles can envelope us, but we can choose to look and remember the "gems and jewels" which surround us or the memories we treasure and His word in our hearts and minds.
Don't give up, don't give in to this world's choices, evil, and treachery. There is a way of life that is so very worth living, and this life is living for the Lord Jesus!
Look around you--if only in your memories and live a life of "gems and jewels".
