Everyone needs a hug now and then.

Reach out to others. Let them know you are thinking of them.

Real hugs are wonderful, but it is really quite easy to give a hug with sweet, caring words.

Try it, you may like it-- someone may give you a hug someday.

..."Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you."

..."So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.

Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father."...

Beautiful post!

These days, honestly, we all need physical hugs. The isolations of the last year have been damaging to humanity.

* Thank you, Carolyn, I agree 100% *

This whole time has been absolutely inhumane.

Everything from hugs to seeing smiles, to going to the doctor without your spouse, to not being allowed to be with your own family member as they struggle and die alone.

This world is NOT our home!

Here’s my hug to both of you, and looking forward to the Trumpet calling us home! Yes, we are still here, and may the Lord keep us encouraging one another, (as your blog does, Jill), let us not be fearful, and know we are kept by our good Shepherd. Love the Scripture references!

Thank you for your kindness and for the HUG! :o)

Yes, let us remember and remind others, let us preach to ourselves that the LORD is good and His love is everlasting. Our time here is limited and then glory! Praise God!

May we seek His face as each trial comes to us.

Jill,
I’m taking your advice to let you know I’m thinking of you! Hope you can see some signs of Spring up your way. The buttercups (daffodils ☺️) are poking their heads up and starting to bloom! Such a welcome sight! Here’s a hug for you!

Thank you, Nelia :o)

How exciting for you to see blooms soon! We are at the grey/brown ground stage with only a bit of life poking out, but warmer temps this week may bring more green!
