How beautiful the works of God!
The flowers, the tree,
the sky, the sod!
Revealing truths of faith and light;
Of grace, of trust,
of hope, of right!
And from the flower,
the mustard seed,
Christ gathered lessons
for His creed.
He told men of the birds that fly;
The city on a hill near by;
The vine, the grass,
the lamb, the rock;
The lilies and the shepherd's flock;
The flower, the tree,
the sky, the sod ---
How beautiful the works of God!
